ViaCat 2003 (Stannous Octoate) is a oily liquid which has C16H30O4Sn as chemical formula. It is an polyurethane catalyst which is mainly used in soft lump foam production. It can also be used in the (polyurethane) coating and elastomer areas and as a polymerization initiator in the production of rubber and polylactic acid.
Stannous Octoate is also known as tin octoate, tin bis(2-ethylhexanoate), tin(II) octoate and stannous caprylate.
