Description and features
Iniper AIVN SG-2000 (Azobis-methylbutyronitrile) is a white solid with the chemical formula C10H16N4. It serves as a polymerization initiator for various applications, including acrylics and styrenes. Additionally, it is used in the production of foams to create nitrogen bubbles. Notably, Iniper AIVN SG-2000 is significantly more soluble in organic solvents than Iniper 64 (AIBN), which enhances its versatility.
Moreover, people recognize azobis-methylbutyronitrile by several other names, including 2,2’-Azobis(2-methylbutyronitrile), 2,2′-(Diazene-1,2-diyl)bis(2-methylbutanenitrile), and AMBN.
