Description and features
Viacat 4202 (Dibutyltin dilaurate) is a yellow liquid which has C32H64O4Sn as chemical formula. It is used in the production of polyether and polyester based polyurethanes. Further it finds its application as catalyst in both adhesives and sealants. Other uses include heat stabilizer for PVC and room temperature vulcanization (RTV) of sillicone polymers.
Dibutyltin dilaurate is also known as di-n-butyldilauryltin, dibutylbis(lauroyloxy)stannane and dibutyltin didodecanoate.
