The 12th Vesta Chemicals AsRENdorp is here!

The preparations for AsRENdorp 2026 are in full motion and just as in previous years, Vesta Chemicals BV will be the proud main sponsor of Zwolle’s coziest running event.

The day will start around noon with a warmup for the kids, as is tradition. For the younger participants there is the kids run, which will begin after the warmup is complete. Afterwards the FysioMobilae 5 km takes place for participants of 13 years and above. Participants will run through the characteristically beautiful streets of Assendorp, considered as the heart of Zwolle by many. Most parts of the course will be lined with people cheering and supporting the runners. The atmosphere is truly electric.

The winners receive the iconic trophy that is made from an actual brick taken form the streets of Assendorp. Who will win this beautiful and historic trophy this year? Whether if you’re a seasoned marathoner, a regular jogger, or simply someone who enjoys a festive atmosphere, AsRENdorp is an event for everyone.

At the Assendorperplein you’ll find a few food trucks to welcome you at the finish line (or to get a quick snack before the race). Enjoy the atmosphere and community while also supporting the participants – or maybe even participating yourself.
