AminCat BDMAEE is a colorless to light yellow liquid with the chemical formula C8H20N2O. As a tertiary amine, it stands out as one of the most active amine blowing catalysts available. Furthermore, chemists commonly refer to AminCat BDMAEE as Bis[2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl] ether, while its scientific name is N,N,N’,N’-tetramethyl-2,2′-oxybis(ethylamine).

Application
AminCat BDMAEE primarly promotes the urea (water-isocyanate) reaction in flexible and rigid polyurethane foams. It has a low odour and is highly active for flexible foams, semi-flexible foams and rigid foams.
