Description and features
Polydant PFR (benzene, ethenyl-, polymer with 1,3-butadiene polystyrene-polybutadiene tri-block polymer) is a brominated thermoplastic elastomer specifically designed for use in flame-retardant and impact-modified polymer systems. Thanks to its unique triblock structure, it offers a well-balanced combination of mechanical flexibility, thermal processability, and halogen-based flame resistance.
Furthermore, Polydant PFR is produced under strict quality controls to ensure low impurity levels, consistent bromine content, and batch-to-batch uniformity. As a result, its brominated structure delivers excellent flame retardancy while still maintaining processability and performance in demanding applications.

Thanks to its excellent compatibility with engineering plastics, Polydant PFR is widely used as a performance-enhancing additive or compatibilizer in:
