Description and features
Thanks to the specific reactivity of the 2-aminoethylaminopropyl structure, using SilQon DAMO as an adhesion promoter in Glass – fiber reinforced or filler-modified plastics reduces the filler’s sedimentation tendency and improves dispersibility and numerous mechanical properties (e.g. flexural strength, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity) of the composites. The use of SilQon DAMO in these materials also results in a markedly improved resistance to water (vapor) and corrosion. Electrical properties, such as volume resistivity and the dielectric constant, are also positively influenced.
