Description and features
Enox 101-50D-pd (2-5-Dimethyl-2-5-di-tert-butylperoxy-hexane on silica, 50%) is a white powder which has C16H34O4 as chemical formula. It is used to for the crosslinking of natural rubber, synthetic rubber (such as silicone rubber) and as modification agent of polypropylene degradation.
2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-di(tert-butylperoxy)hexane is also known as di-tert-butyl 1,1,4,4-tetramethyltetramethylene diperoxide, 2,5-Dimethyl-2,5-bis(tert-butylhydroperoxy)hexane and Di-tert-butyl 1,1,4,4-tetramethyltetramethylene diperoxide.
