Description and features
Silqon Glymo (3-glycidoxypropyltrimethoxysilane) acts as a coupling agent in mineral-filled plastics; consequently, it improves filler dispensability while also reducing sedimentation tendency and significantly lowering the resin’s viscosity. Additionally, it enhances filler loading and leads to greater resistance to water (vapor), acids, and bases. Furthermore, when used as a component in adhesives and sealants, Silqon A187 improves adhesion to substrates and boosts mechanical properties, including flexural strength, tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity.
