Benzoguanamine is a white crystalline powder which has the chemical formula C9H9N5. It finds its application as cross-linking agent of alkyd and acrylic resins. Further is used in the production of formaldehyde resins as a modifier and flexibilizer and as raw material of (benzo)guanamine resins.

Application
Benzoguanamine is used as a cross-linking agent of alkyd and acrylic resin to increase thermoset properties. It is used as a raw material for guanamine resins. It can also be used as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals.
