Description and features
Iniper AIVN SG-2000 (Azobis-methylbutyronitrile) is an white solid which has C10H16N4 as chemical formula. It finds its application as polymerzation initiator of amongst others acrylics and styrenes. Further it is also used in the production of foams to create nitrogen bubbles. Iniper 67 is significantly more soluble in organic solvents than Iniper 64 (AIBN) .
Azobis-methylbutyronitrile is also known as 2,2’-Azobis(2-methylbutyronitrile), 2,2′-(Diazene-1,2-diyl)bis(2-methylbutanenitrile) and AMBN.
